We have a flair for spotting and generating the very latest trends in fine food and today supply around 40 fine food brands across a dozen ambient categories –. oils, vinegar and dressings, marinades, sauces and  condiments, ethnic foods, vegetables and pulses, meat and fish products, fruit products, bakery products, olives and pickles, soups and drinks. We offer the highest quality products in each and every one of these categories, as well as bringing new and exciting products to market.

We have been the driving force behind many emerging trends over the years, for example Mediterranean food and we have sold the best olives – CRESPO – since 1955, as well as introducing the UK to balsamic vinegar and tapenade. Take into account that we were the first company to import retail packs of satay sauce and you get an idea of what R.H. Amar is all about. For example, when we introduced retail packs of Caesar salad dressing to the UK market, the one we chose was naturally the one created by the inventor of Caesar salad – Caesar Cardini himself. Now you begin to get a flavour for how R.H. Amar works.

Other leading brands that we are proud to supply include BERTOLLI olive oil, CIRIO tomatoes, GEETA'S chutneys and GAEA Greek foods (details of our full portfolio can be found below).

We also have a shareholding in Mary Berry & Daughter Ltd., owner of the popular MARY BERRY brand of salad dressing, sauces, condiments and preserves. And our very own COOKS&CO house brand – a wide range of exciting and innovative products and kitchen ingredients aimed at retail and foodservice, including olives, antipasti, sauces, pesto and premium fruit products – is enjoying double-digit growth.

Own Label
Although the majority of our business is branded, we also supply significant volumes of private label products to our retail and foodservice customers and we are constantly looking to develop this side of our business.
We supply some of the UK’s biggest retailers with own label fine foods and since establishing a dedicated own label team in January 2007 we have obtained new contracts with most of the UK's major food retailers, cash and carrys, wholesalers and foodservice customers.
